Terms and Conditions

  1. Prepaid/COD on all orders unless credit has been approved by Exotic Nurseries prior to delivery or pick-up.
  2. Approved account customers are supplied strictly on agreed terms.
  3. All stock sold remains the property of Exotic Nurseries until paid for in full.
  4. Exotic Nurseries reserves the right to suspend credit facilities on any account not conducted within the Exotic Nurseries trading terms and conditions.
  5. Any applicable discount will be calculated on GST exclusive prices and GST will be inclusive of the total price.
  6. Prices and charges are subject to change without notice.
  7. Payments made by Credit Card will incur a fee.
  8. Any late payments will incur a 5% fee of the total invoice outstanding.
  9. In the event of default of payment, all costs of collection, including legal and court costs shall be at the expense of the customer.

Acceptance of Quotation

  1. Quotations are valid for 30 days only from date entered. Pricing will be reviewed thereafter.
  2. If proceeding with a quotation, customers are required to accept in writing confirming along with a 10% non-refundable deposit, delivery address, site contact and desired delivery date, where our team will endeavour to meet your request.
  3. Where specific stock has been selected or images provided by your sales representative, it is the customers responsibility to clearly relay this information at time of ordering to ensure the correct items are delivered. Failure to do so could result in handling and delivery fees.
  4. All items are available at the time of quoting and only allocated once quotations have been accepted in writing. Prices may vary if stock is not available once acceptance has been received, but you will be notified of any adjustments before proceeding.

Holding Orders

  1. Holding orders require a 30% non-refundable deposit.
  2. The balance of the order are subject to normal trading terms and conditions.
  3. If holding orders are not collected/dispatched by the agreed time, fees and charges may apply based on labour, materials, watering requirements & ongoing care & maintenance.

Order Cancellation, Changes & Return Fees

  1. A fee of $350.00+GST will apply to postponed orders that have been picked and ready for dispatch. A new delivery fee will be charged for the rescheduled date.
  2. A fee of $500.00+GST will apply to postponed orders loaded on vehicles or re-scheduled whilst in transit or upon arrival to site. A new delivery fee will be charged for the rescheduled date.
  3. A fee of the total invoice amount will be applied where picked & confirmed orders are cancelled entirely.
  4. A 20% fee of stock value applies to all accepted Exotic Nurseries stock returns. Exotic Nurseries does not accept returns of stock bought-in from external suppliers.
  5. A fee of $250.00+GST applies where you require Exotic Nurseries to pick-up return plants from site (within Sydney Metropolitan Area)
  6. Changes to confirmed orders must be made 24 hours prior to dispatch. Changes for stock bought-in from external suppliers will not be accepted.

Deliveries

  1. All deliveries are to be coordinated in advance with your sales representative.
  2. All deliveries are kerb side drop or site entrance only (unless prior arrangements are made)
  3. Customers are required to have a contact & machinery where needed onsite at time of delivery to accept deliveries, sign off and to assist our driver unload in compliance with Work Health and Safety Laws. If no personnel are present to assist, the stock may be returned to Exotic Nursery and the customer may be charged a restocking fee of 20% of invoice value sign.
  4. It is the responsibility of the customer to check off all items listed on the delivery docket before signing acceptance.
  5. All claims due to shortages or damages must be made at time of delivery and before signing off the order – delivery driver must be notified and where possible, your sales representative should also be informed.
  6. Responsibility for stock delivered by Exotic Nurseries ceases once stock is received and accepted by the customer.
  7. Where an outside carrier is used, claims for damages or shortages caused in transit should be directed to the relevant carrier.
  8. Deliveries take place Monday-Friday 6.30am-3pm (excluding Public Holidays) with a notification the day prior. Outside these mentioned hours, a surcharge may apply.
  9. Delivery confirmation details are emailed and or texted the day prior to dispatch. It is the customers responsibility to cross check delivery date, delivery address and site contact are correct before confirming. The customer may be charged another delivery fee if address is incorrect.
  10. Plastic Trays will be charged out at $2.00+GST per tray at time of dispatch. This is refundable upon return to Exotic Nursery
